Under IPS Mission, IPS 2026 Fukuoka Conference are calling for abstracts for oral and poster presentations, and proposals to organize workshops, panel discussions and other sessions.
IPS Mission:
To provide the planetarium

in order to enhance the world’s appreciation and understanding of our universe.
1. Submission period
August 25th (Mon) – October 31st (Fri), 2025
2. Notification of acceptance
Early December 2025
*All submitted abstracts and proposals will be peer-reviewed.
3. Session types
- Oral Presentation: Abstract submission
- Poster presentation: Abstract submission
- Workshop: Proposal submission
- Panel Discussion: Proposal submission
- Other session: Proposal submission
Note that abstract submission is required for oral and poster presentations and proposal submission is required to organize a workshop, panel discussion and other session.
4. Topics
This conference will consist of oral presentation, poster presentation, workshop, panel discussion and other sessions. The topics for all sessions are as follows.
Please note that you may be assigned to a topic other than the one you have chosen due to the program.

5. Abstract submission for oral and poster presentations
Submit your abstract online from “Submission” button below.
Create your account on the submission site to submit an abstract.
On the submission site, select session type (Oral or Poster) and up to three topics closely related to your abstract.
Co-authors and affiliations can be registered up to 20 each.
Abstract title (Presentation title) should be less than 30 words.
Main text of abstract should be less than 300 words.
Final paper submission is required to all contributors for oral and poster presentations.
Submission deadline: June 30, 2026

Presenter attendance at the conference
At least one author of an accepted abstract must register and attend the conference to present the paper or poster.
6. Proposal submission for workshops, panel discussions and other sessions
Those who wish to organize a workshop, a panel discussion and other session, please submit your proposal from “Submission” button below.
Create your account on the submission site to submit a session proposal.
On the submission site, select session type (Workshop, Panel Discussion or Other session) and up to three topics closely related to your proposal.
Co-organizers and affiliations can be registered up to 20 each.
Proposal title (Session theme) should be less than 30 words.
Main text of proposal should be less than 300 words.
Include the followings in the main text of your proposal:
- Aim/Objectives
- Tentative speakers/panelists
- Tentative chairs/moderators
- Total time you would request for a session
- Maximum number of participants (for workshops)
Registration to the conference is required for all chairs, speakers and panelists to attend the assigned session.
7. Copyrights
Copyrights of submitted abstracts for oral and poster presentations belong to IPS. Copyrights of the presentation content remains with the presenters.
